The Bobcats waived forward Taylor Griffin on Friday.
Known as Blake Griffin’s brother for the most part, Taylor has enough athleticism and notoriety to get another shot somewhere down the road. He could also opt for Europe after playing in Belgium last season.
  • WAS Center #44
The Bobcats have waived Melvin Ely.
Ely was signed just over a week ago but missed time due to dehydration, and that may have cost him a chance to make the final roster. Taylor Griffin and Durrell Summers were also let go, although Summers is expected to head to the NBDL.
  • DEN Point Guard
Ben Uzoh has joined the D-League and will find out his team once he clears waivers.
Uzoh had been playing abroad during the lockout but appears to be headed the D-League route for a way to re-enter the NBA. Taylor Griffin and Damon James will also find out their newest teams at the beginning of next week.
  • PHI Center
Mikki Moore has signed a contract to play in the NBDL.
Another veteran looking for a comeback, Moore will head to the NBDL in order to do so. Willie Warren will also ink a deal, and Taylor Griffin is expected to follow suit later this week.
  • CHA Power Forward
The Suns took Oklahoma forward and brother of Blake, Taylor Griffin with the No. 48 pick in the draft.
This Griffin went higher than expected, so don’t look for him to do much with the Suns in his rookie season.
  • CHA Power Forward
Suns rookie Taylor Griffin started on Monday but had just four points, three rebounds and three fouls in 18 minutes.
The Suns frontcourt is shallow, but not nearly shallow enough for the lesser Griffin to have fantasy relevance. And he didn’t help his case with this lackluster performance.
  • CHA Power Forward
The Suns signed second-round draft pick Taylor Griffin on Monday to what is likely a non-guaranteed minimum contract.
The lesser-known Griffin brother averaged 6.2 points and 3.0 rebounds during Summer League, and doesn’t warrant consideration in fantasy drafts.
  • CHA Power Forward
The Suns sent rookie big man Taylor Griffin to the D-League on Monday.
He wasn’t getting minutes in Phoenix so he’ll at least get a chance to play now.
  • CHA Power Forward
The Suns have recalled rookie Taylor Griffin from the NBA D-League.
The Suns assigned the 6-foot-7 Griffin to the Iowa Energy on Dec. 7. He played in two games with the Energy, averaging 13.5 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. He is not expected to have much, if any, fantasy value this year.
  • CHA Power Forward
The Suns brought up Taylor Griffin from the D-League on Wednesday.
Things were going so well with the little brother of Brook Lopez, they decided to give Blake’s brother a chance as well.
