Keyonte George, Collin Sexton, Svi Mykhailiuk, Micah Potter, and Walker Kessler will start Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Injuries to Lauri Markkanen and John Collins opened up two spots in the Jazz starting lineup. Head coach Will Hardy has gone off the radar with his replacements, with Mykhailiuk and Potter receiving the nod. While both have the opportunity to provide streaming value, fantasy managers remain better off gambling on Brice Sensabaugh despite him staying on the bench.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk has agreed to a four-year, $15 million deal with the Jazz, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Mykhailiuk made 41 appearances for Boston last season, though he only saw garbage time minutes in the playoffs. He will provide some depth on the wing for Utah, but he will probably only play a small role, with their young guys seeing a majority of the minutes.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk produced 26 points (10-of-13 FG), five rebounds, five assists, a block and six three-pointers across 37 minutes in Sunday’s win over Washington.
Mykhailiuk was cooking in this one from the jump, dropping 15 points and three triples in the first half. He finished his first season in Boston with a career-low 10.1 minutes per game across 41 appearances, though he matched his career-high in scoring in the season finale. Boston rested all of its starters for this one, but the Celtics’ B-Squad led this one from whistle to whistle. The 26 points match his total against Toronto set on April 2, 2023, and the six three-pointers are a new career-high. Mykhailiuk is unlikely to see much run in the postseason, so Sunday’s performance will go down as a happy footnote to an otherwise forgettable campaign.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #44
The Celtics will start Payton Pritchard, Jaden Springer, Svi Mykhailiuk, Sam Hauser and Luke Kornet against Charlotte on Friday.
With two games left in the regular season, Boston is finally deciding to fully rest their core six stars. It will be a completely new starting unit, with everyone available playing big minutes.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk (personal reasons) is active for Tuesday’s game against the Jazz.
Mykhailiuk is available after spending time away from the team attending to a personal issue. His return will not impact fantasy basketball, as Svi is not guaranteed rotation minutes when available.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk (personal reasons) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Jazz.
Mykhailiuk has been away from the team recently but could return on Tuesday. However, this will not impact fantasy basketball, as Svi has not been in the rotation most nights when available.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #77
Svi Mykhailiuk (left heel contusion) and Lamar Stevens (illness) are probable for Wednesday’s game against Detroit.
Both players missed the Christmas Day matchup with the Lakers, but neither player is a large part of their rotation when healthy.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk (left heel contusion) and Lamar Stevens (illness) will not play against the Lakers on Monday.
Both players came into the game as questionable, but neither is a large part of the team’s rotation. Their absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk (left heel contusion) and Lamar Stevens (illness) are questionable for Monday’s game against the Lakers.
Mykhailiuk sat out Saturday’s win over the Clippers, but his absence did not impact the Celtics’ rotation or fantasy basketball. Stevens did see action on Saturday but did not play until the outcome was no longer in doubt. Neither Mykhailiuk nor Stevens impact fantasy basketball.
  • BOS Shooting Guard #50
Svi Mykhailiuk (left heel contusion) has been downgraded to out for Saturday’s game against the Clippers.
Mykhailiuk was initially questionable for this game, but he has officially been ruled out. He isn’t a large part of the team’s rotation, so his absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
