ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Steph Curry has agreed to a one-year, $62.6 million extension to remain with Golden State through the 2026-27 season.
The one-year deal essentially confirms Curry - who will turn 39 at the end of the 2026-27 campaign - will finish his career in the bay. He’s still one of the best players in the Association, and his tremendous play at the Paris Olympics was a great reminder of his excellence. Curry should be a first-round fantasy option for the 2024-25 season, and he’s got plenty more left in the tank.

Stephen Curry led Team USA with 24 points (8-of-13 FGs), one rebound, five assists, two steals, eight 3-pointers and five turnovers in a 98-87 win over France on Saturday.
Any early struggles that Curry had during the Olympics are long behind him. He scored 60 points and hit 17 triples over his final two Olympic games to help Team USA add another gold medal. This was also a nice resume builder for the greatest shooter of all time. He hit four 3-pointers over the final three minutes of the game to seal the victory in dramatic fashion. This will likely be his only Olympic appearance, but he will hopefully be able to turn this run into an elite start to next season.

Stephen Curry finished Thursday’s 95-91 win over Serbia with 36 points (12-of-19 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and nine 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
Fans looking for that signature “Curry game” at the Paris Olympics got their wish on Thursday, as the Warriors guard stepped up to carry the United States into Saturday’s gold medal game. He scored 17 points in the first quarter alone, and Serbia did not have an answer for Curry throughout a contest the Americans trailed by as much as 17. He’ll look to do more of the same against hosts France, and the USA may need every point to extend their run of Olympic gold medals.

Stephen Curry won the Kia NBA Clutch Player of the Year award on Thursday.
Curry beat out DeMar DeRozan and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, receiving 45 first-place votes to DeRozan’s 34. Those two were separated by 26 total points, with SGA coming in third with 160 points (11 first-place votes). Curry led the NBA in crunch time points (189), made field goals (59), and made 3-pointers (32). “Crunch time” is defined as the final five minutes of a game within five points. Rounding out the top five were Nikola Jokic and Jalen Brunson.

Stephen Curry shot 8-of-16 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, scoring 22 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
Curry’s 15th NBA season came to a disappointing end, even though he led the Warriors in scoring. Six turnovers countered the shooting percentages, and the Warriors committed 16. Looking ahead to next season, Curry is one of the few “sure things” on the roster. Beginning the 2023-24 campaign with a Yahoo ADP of 6.7, he ranked within the top 20 in 8-cat formats and the top 25 in 9-cat. Whether or not Curry is worthy of being selected with a top-10 pick in drafts will depend partially on what the Warriors’ overall roster looks like.

Stephen Curry (right ankle sprain) and Draymond Green (right knee contusion) are out for Sunday’s game against the Jazz.
Curry and Green were initially questionable for Sunday’s game, which still holds some value for the Warriors. Depending on results, Golden State can finish anywhere from eighth to tenth in the West. The absences free up additional minutes for Brandin Podziemski, while Jonathan Kuminga will also be in play if available. Kuminga is a game-time decision with a pelvic contusion.

Stephen Curry (right ankle sprain), Klay Thompson (right knee tendonitis) and Chris Paul (left hamstring tightness) are questionable to play against the Jazz on Sunday.
Golden State may be without their three veteran guards for Sunday’s season finale, which would open up a ton of minutes for Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski. Golden State would need Portland to beat the Kings to have a chance to move up the standings, so they may prioritize rest.

Stephen Curry played 32 minutes in Friday’s 114-109 loss to the Pelicans, tallying 33 points (12-of-23 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, one steal, and seven 3-pointers.
Curry had a good night shooting the basketball; he was above 50% from the field and three. However, he was responsible for seven of the Warriors’ 16 turnovers. Not only was that a season-high for Curry, but he had not recorded five turnovers in a game since January 30 against the 76ers. With the defeat, the Warriors need a win and losses by the Lakers and Kings on Sunday to get out of the 10-seed in the West.

Chris Paul shot 3-of-9 from the field in Thursday’s 100-92 win over Portland, scoring eight points with three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
Paul stepped into the starting lineup for Klay Thompson, who sat out with a sore knee. CP3 didn’t offer much scoring, but the limited assist tally was the bigger surprise. He remains a solid fantasy option whether he starts or comes off the bench. Stephen Curry is the one who got the job done in the assist category, dishing out eight while also recording 22 points (8-of-22 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, one steal, two blocks, and five 3-pointers. Thompson is expected to be available for Friday’s game against the Pelicans, which would drop Paul to the bench.

Steph Curry put up 23 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, a steal, two blocks and six triples across 32 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers.
Curry only attempted nine shots, though he was able to eclipse the 20-point mark thanks to a 6-of-6 shooting night from long range. Curry sat out Sunday against the Jazz, but he picked up right where he left off after averaging 28.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists in two games before his absence. Most importantly, Curry gave the Warriors a much-needed win and dealt the Lakers a loss as both teams jockey for position within the Play-In Tournament.
