Arron Afflalo, Brandon Rush and Sean Kilpatrick all participated in a free-agent workout for the Sixers this week.
Also in attendance was Haywood Highsmith, who plays for the Sixers’ G League affiliate Delaware Blue Coats. Even if Philly does sign one of these guys, they’ll be nowhere near fantasy value.

Sean Kilpatrick came off the bench on Wednesday for 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting with one 3-pointer and two turnovers.
Kilpatrick did his damage in 22 minutes, adding four boards and a pair of assists. His splits from last March provide a rough idea of his fantasy limitations -- 13.3 points on 48.3 percent shooting with 1.5 triples, but just 1.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.1 blocks.
  • BKN Shooting Guard #2
Randy Foye (hamstring) is being listed as day-to-day, and should be considered questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Pistons.
There haven’t been any reports of Foye getting back to practice in any capacity, so he’s probably closer to doubtful for Wednesday’s game. If he’s out, it’ll be Bojan Bogdanovic sticking with the starting five, with Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris having the opportunity for some extended minutes.

Randy Foye (hamstring) is being listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Pistons.
Foye still hasn’t practiced with the team, so him spending Wednesday’s game on the sidelines is the most likely scenario here. Bojan Bogdanovic will benefit most, with more minutes falling to guys like Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #0
Sean Kilpatrick will start at point guard for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
Both Jeremy Lin (hamstring) and Isaiah Whitehead (concussion) will be unavailable for tonight’s game, so Kilpatrick could be logging major minutes in what will be a favorable matchup with the Knicks. Kilpatrick has been en fuego to begin the year, owning averages of 16.6 points, 4.3 boards, 2.1 assists, 1.7 triples and 1.1 steals per game in just 26.5 minutes a night, so he’s certainly someone to consider rolling out there in DFS.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #0
Sean Kilpatrick handed out a career-high five assists in a start at point guard against the Knicks on Wednesday, adding seven points, four rebounds, one 3-pointer and four turnovers in 28 minutes.
It was his first career start with the Nets usually counting on him in the second unit. He’s been familiar with the other starters and should be better his next time out. Kilpatrick has been one of the best D-League alums this season and has done enough to be worth owning in standard leagues.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #0
Sean Kilpatrick scored 15 points with two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Bucks on Saturday.
The struggles of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson are helping out Kilpatrick quite a bit. He’s getting to the line more and he’s the only Net to score in double figures for every game so far. His upside isn’t all that high, so he’s more of a 14-team league asset.
  • NBA Point Guard #12
Isaiah Whitehead made his second start in a row on Tuesday vs. the Wolves, finishing with six points, seven rebounds, seven assists and one block in 26 minutes.
Sean Kilpatrick (14 points) is the player you want to own while Jeremy Lin (hamstring) is out, but Whitehead could have some short-term value in deeper leagues. He was 2-of-5 from the field with a pair of turnovers, and while his game is better suited for points leagues, he’s likely looking at a few more starts moving forward.
  • BKN Point Guard #21
The Nets will reportedly release Greivis Vasquez (ankle) on Wednesday.
Vasquez will need to undergo a second ankle surgery, so it could be tough for him to return to the court this season. In a corresponding move, the Nets will sign Yogi Ferrell, and it’ll be interesting to see how many minutes he can earn in the rotation while Jeremy Lin (hamstring) is sidelined. Sean Kilpatrick is still the guy you want to pickup sans Lin, and Isaiah Whitehead should continue to see a role in the mid-20s as Brooklyn’s starting point guard.
  • NBA Point Guard #17
Mike Fratello said he recently spoke with Jeremy Lin (hamstring) and believes that Lin will be able to return to the court within the next 2-3 games.
Lin will likely sit out Friday’s game in OKC, and we’d be surprised to see him take the court Sunday vs. Portland, but Wednesday’s home game against the Celtics seems like a realistic return date. He is traveling with the team on their road trip, and has been able to get in some morning workouts, so he’s making steady progress. Once he’s back, Sean Kilpatrick will more than likely return to the bench, and guys like Yogi Ferrell and Isaiah Whitehead could struggle to get in the rotation.
