  • MEM Point Guard #1
Scotty Pippen Jr. (eye) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
Pippen was injured during Friday’s loss to the Lakers, but he will be available for Sunday’s season finale. Due to the number of players Memphis will not have available, Pippen needs to be rostered in active leagues.
  • MEM Point Guard #4
Jordan Goodwin finished Friday’s loss to the Lakers with 23 points (7-of-22 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 17 rebounds, three assists, four steals, and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
After grabbing a career-high 19 rebounds on Tuesday, Goodwin corralled 17 more on Friday. Add the steals, and he made up for a subpar night shooting the basketball. Goodwin and Scotty Pippen Jr. have been solid fantasy assets down the stretch, as the Grizzlies are playing out the string with a depleted roster. Pippen finished Friday’s defeat with 28 points, five rebounds, six assists, four steals, and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes. However, Pippen is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets with an eye injury. Goodwin’s value would be boosted if Pippen cannot play.
  • MEM Point Guard #4
Jordan Goodwin shot 5-of-15 from the field in Tuesday’s 102-87 loss to the Spurs, accumulating 10 points, 19 rebounds, and five assists in 36 minutes.
Goodwin did not have a good night shooting the ball, making 33.3% of his attempts, but he was highly productive as a rebounder. Eight of his career-high 19 rebounds came on the offensive end of the floor, and he was also responsible for five assists. Scotty Pippen Jr. also struggled with his shot (4-of-15 FGs) but recorded a full stat line, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals, and one blocked shot in 31 minutes. With Desmond Bane (back) unlikely to play again this season, managers in active fantasy leagues need to add Goodwin and Pippen.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #22
Desmond Bane (lumbar disc bulge) will not play in Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
Memphis isn’t playing for anything other than draft lottery odds, so they do not need to put Bane at risk of further injuring himself. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Jordan Goodwin will play plenty during the final week of the regular season. Managers in active fantasy leagues should add them, as they’re available in most leagues.
  • MEM Point Guard #1
Scotty Pippen Jr. finished Saturday’s loss to Philadelphia with a career-high 24 points to go with two rebounds, five assists, two steals and two three-pointers across 30 minutes.
Pippen Jr. posted a productive 16/3/7/4/1 line in his last game out, and he finished out Memphis’ Friday-Saturday back-to-back set with a new career-high in the scoring department. He led Memphis’ stagnant offense and offered a lone bright spot in the 20-point loss. Over his last seven, Pippen Jr. has averaged 12.9 points, 2.1 boards, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.5 triples across 23.6 minutes. As one of the few Grizzlies who haven’t shown up on the injury report every night, Pippen Jr. is an interesting add for managers playing through the final week of the NBA regular season.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #10
Luke Kennard, Lamar Stevens and Jake LaRavia will all miss Saturday’s matchup with Philadelphia.
The trio will join numerous other Grizzlies on the sidelines, and the most likely beneficiaries are GG Jackson, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Brandon Clarke.
  • MEM Power Forward #13
Jaren Jackson Jr. (right quad tendonitis) and Desmond Bane (back soreness) have been ruled out for Saturday’s matchup with Philadelphia.
Two of the three stars in Memphis will once again be sidelined, and managers shouldn’t expect to see them much for the rest of the season. GG Jackson, Jordan Goodwin and Scotty Pippen Jr. should continue to thrive in their absence.
  • MEM Point Guard #1
Scotty Pippen Jr. shot 7-of-10 from the field in Friday’s win over Detroit, amassing 16 points, three rebounds, seven assists, four steals, one block, and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
While he was responsible for five turnovers, Pippen’s overall stat line made up for that. Rostered in seven percent of Yahoo leagues, he has provided 10th-round per-game value over the past week in 8-cat formats. The turnovers (2.8 per game) have conspired to limit Pippen’s value in 9-cat formats, but Memphis’ many injuries make him worth the risk. That can also be said for Jordan Goodwin, who started alongside Pippen and finished with 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes. Both are worth rostering if Desmond Bane, Luke Kennard, and John Konchar aren’t available for Saturday’s game against Philadelphia.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #10
Luke Kennard has been ruled out of Friday’s matchup with Detroit due to left knee soreness.
Memphis’ injury report is longer than a CVS receipt, leaving GG Jackson and Scotty Pippen Jr. to do the heavy lifting in the backcourt.
  • MEM Power Forward #13
Jaren Jackson Jr. (right quad tendonitis) and Desmond Bane (back soreness) have been ruled out for Friday’s game against Detroit.
Jackson Jr. was playing too well, so now he will join his co-star on the sidelines for Friday’s game. That will open up a ton of minutes and shots for young guys, which should allow for Scotty Pippen Jr., Jordan Goodwin, GG Jackson and Jake LaRavia to have a chance to provide really strong value.
