Saddiq Bey has agreed to a three-year, $20 million deal with the Wizards, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Atlanta didn’t make Bey a restricted free agent, which means that they won’t have a chance to match this offer. Bey will likely miss a lot of time to start next season, but he should be a solid depth forward once he’s back in the rotation. However, it’s difficult to imagine him providing much fantasy value without being in a starting role.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hawks will not issue a qualifying offer to Saddiq Bey, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Bey’s qualifying offer was worth $8 million, so the Hawks declining it is unsurprising given the current circumstances. Bey suffered a torn ACL in March and is facing a lengthy rehabilitation period. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent on June 30, and while a return to Atlanta is not off the table, the chances have decreased. Atlanta selected Zaccharie Risacher with the first overall pick and acquired Dyson Daniels in the trade that sent Dejounte Murray to New Orleans.

Saddiq Bey will miss the rest of the season with a torn left ACL, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
With Jalen Johnson banged up and Onyeka Okongwu sidelined, De’Andre Hunter figures to see a big uptick in playing time and production moving forward. Vit Krejci could be in line for additional playing time, but he’s done little in two recent starts. Garrison Mathews and Wesley Matthews could also absorb some of Bey’s minutes, but neither of them are appealing streamers, and they can remain on the waiver wire.

Saddiq Bey (left knee hyperextension) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
Bey injured his knee when he landed awkwardly during the third quarter on a shot attempt. While he did take the ensuing free throws, he needed to be helped back to the bench. With De’Andre Hunter still on a minutes restriction and Jalen Johnson (ankle) already sidelined, the Hawks are limited at the forward positions. If Bey misses time, Garrison Mathews and Wesley Matthews are in for more playing time.

Saddiq Bey led Atlanta with 23 points (8-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers against the Nets on Saturday.
Bey rebounded well in this game after being held to just six points in Thursday’s loss to the Nets. He hasn’t shot the ball well recently, but he hit over half of his shot attempts in this game for the first time since February 10th. Bey’s low shooting percentage and lack of defensive production limits his impact in category formats, but he has been a decent source of points, rebounds and 3-pointers this season. His numbers haven’t been dramatically impacted by Trae Young’s injury, and he should continue to deliver top-125 value for the remainder of the season.

Saddiq Bey accumulated 18 points (4-of-11 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two 3-pointers in Friday’s 127-121 win over Philadelphia, playing 34 minutes.
After scoring two points on 1-of-7 shooting in a February 2 win over Phoenix, Bey’s put up at least 18 in three straight games. Give him credit for the excellent timing, as De’Andre Hunter returned from injury on January 30 against the Lakers. Hunter, who finished Friday’s win with 11 points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes, is still restricted minutes-wise. The workload has increased recently, but Bey still plays 30-plus minutes per night. We’ll see if that remains the case when Clint Capela is cleared to return from his adductor injury.

Saddiq Bey had a big game on Wednesday with 25 points (9-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in a 125-117 loss to the Celtics.
Bey’s best skill as a player is his ability to space the floor. Unfortunately, he has been in quite the slump, and it hasn’t only been a few games. Over the past two months, he is shooting 26.7% from beyond the arc on 6.2 attempts per game. For reference, he shot 36.1% on 3-pointers last season. Fortunately, he has put together two straight solid performance from deep. He has shot 7-of-13 over their last two games on 3-pointers, and he has scored 43 points during those games. He isn’t a player that will average 20 points per game, but he unlocks a lot for both the team and him as an individual by knocking down 3-pointers consistently.

Saddiq Bey (left ankle sprain) and De’Andre Hunter (right knee injury management) are available for Monday’s game against the Clippers.
Bey and Hunter are both available for Monday’s game, which will limit the minutes available to Garrison Mathews. In the case of Hunter, he remains on a minutes restriction, so fantasy managers should not expect too much production from him.

Saddiq Bey (left ankle sprain) and De’Andre Hunter (right knee injury management) are questionable to play against the Clippers on Monday.
Both Hawks forwards are questionable for Monday’s game, with Bey having sat out on Saturday. Garrison Mathews started in his place, though Bogdan Bogdanovic filled most of the minutes. Hunter is still on a strict minutes restriction, so he should see around 15-20 minutes if he is available.

Saddiq Bey (left ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Warriors.
Bey will not play after having to exit Friday’s win over the Suns during the first half. De’Andre Hunter, still considered questionable for Saturday’s game, will move into the starting lineup if he’s cleared. However, he should still be on a minutes restriction, so fantasy managers should not expect too much from Hunter.
