Rudy Gobert amassed two points (1-of-1 FGs), five rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s Game 5 loss to the Thunder.
Outside of Game 4, Gobert had little impact on the action in the Western Conference Finals. He made his only shot attempt in Game 5 but only played 19 minutes, as Timberwolves coach Chris Finch searched furiously for answers in a game that got away from his team early. While fantasy managers hoped Karl-Anthony Towns’ departure would boost Gobert’s fantasy value, things did not work out that way. Boasting a Yahoo! ADP of 47, he finished outside the top-75 in eight-cat formats and outside the top-60 in nine-cat. Gobert is approaching the point in his career when he should not be a top-50 selection in standard leagues.

Rudy Gobert dominated the Lakers and finished with 27 points (12-of-15 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), 24 rebounds and two blocks in a 103-96 win in Game 5 on Wednesday.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick bumped Jaxson Hayes from the starting unit and out of the rotation, which allowed Gobert to control the paint in this game from start to finish. He set new playoff career-highs for both points and rebounds to help Minnesota advance to the next round. Entering this game, Gobert had a total of 14 points and 25 rebounds during this series. Clearly, Game 5 was a huge step in the right direction for him, and he will look to carry this into the conference semifinals, where they will await the winner of the Rockets-Warriors series.

Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double on Sunday with 19 points (8-of-15 FGs), 17 rebounds, one steal and four blocks against the Jazz.
Gobert wasn’t able to provide a true encore to his 35-point performance on Friday, but he was able to turn in another double-double. The final few weeks entering the postseason have been excellent for Gobert; this was his fifth game with at least 15 rebounds in his last 10 appearances. This may not have been Gobert’s most productive regular season, but he’s getting hot at the right time. Minnesota will have a week off before they travel for Game 1 of their first-round matchup.

Rudy Gobert accumulated 35 points (13-of-17 FGs, 9-of-14 FTs), 11 rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in 33 minutes in Friday’s win over the Nets.
With Anthony Edwards struggling offensively, the Timberwolves needed others to step up on Friday. Gobert answered the call, recording a season-high point total and his 35th double-double. He’s scored at least 19 points in five of his last seven outings, providing third-round value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Minnesota needs to win Sunday’s game against the Jazz, and they’re unlikely to have Edwards due to technical foul accumulation. That matchup should be excellent for Gobert due to Utah’s lack of interior depth.

Rudy Gobert accounted for 13 points (5-of-5 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Grizzlies.
Over the past two weeks, Gobert has provided third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. And the schedule sets up well for Gobert to finish the regular season with a flourish, as the Timberwolves host the Nets and Jazz. Two shorthanded teams focused more on player development and improving their draft lottery odds than winning games. The Timberwolves have incentive to keep playing to win, but minutes could get limited for Gobert and the rest of the Minnesota starters if they wander into a blowout.

Rudy Gobert tallied 23 points (10-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 19 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in 36 minutes in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
Anthony Edwards wasn’t the only Timberwolves scorer taking advantage of frequent mismatches as the 76ers didn’t have an answer for Gobert, either. The veteran center recorded another elite stat line, eclipsing 21 points and 18 rebounds for the second straight games. The “Stifle Tower” also recorded five “stocks.” Over the past two weeks, Gobert has provided top-20 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Gobert managers whose leagues are not finished are likely happy that he’ll have four games to play during Week 23.

Rudy Gobert had 21 points (9-of-10 FGs), 18 rebounds, one assist and two blocks against the Nets on Thursday.
Gobert is averaging just 11 points per game this season but quietly has scored at least 15 points in six consecutive games and at least 19 points in three straight games. The 32-year-old center also pulled down 18 rebounds as he dominated the glass against the Nets Thursday. Gobert has seen an uptick in production and provided third-round fantasy value over the last two weeks.

Rudy Gobert finished Sunday’s win over the Pistons with 19 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 25 rebounds and one blocked shot in 38 minutes.
Gobert was on a mission Sunday night, as the 25 rebounds were the most he’s had in a game this season and three shy of his career-high. The Timberwolves center was also effective as a scorer, shooting 50 percent from the field and 75 percent from the foul line. Over the past two weeks, Gobert has offered third-round value in nine-cat formats, which is excellent production for someone who has been a top 75 player this season. Gobert will face a more challenging test on Tuesday when the Timberwolves visit Denver, the first of three games Minnesota plays during Week 22.

Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double on Monday with 16 points (8-of-12 FGs), 16 rebounds and three assists in a 119-103 loss to the Pacers.
This was the second-straight double-double for Gobert, though it was on pace to be a much bigger night. He had eight points and 13 rebounds in the first half, but he wasn’t able to add much to his rebounding total after the break. This was also the second-straight game that Gobert didn’t record a block, which makes this the first time this season that he went consecutive games without swatting a shot. That isn’t typical for Gobert, and he’ll look to bounce back against the Suns on Friday.

Rudy Gobert had 15 points (4-of-5 FGs), 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals against the Pelicans on Friday.
Gobert only took five shots from the field, but he was able to get to the foul line and make 7-of-8 free throw attempts. The 32-year-old center also pulled down 11 rebounds, earned a double-double and had three steals on the defensive end. Gobert still played 30 minutes despite Minnesota running away with a 41-point victory, a sign he’s feeling much better after dealing with a back injury earlier this month.
