RJ Barrett accumulated 27 points (11-of-18 FGs, 3-of-7 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers.
Back in the lineup after missing five games in the league’s concussion protocol, Barrett looked sharp in Wednesday’s defeat. He shot over 50 percent from the field and finished one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Barrett’s return pushed Ochai Agbaji to the bench, and he finished with 15 points, three rebounds, one blocked shot, and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes. Agbaji is a player who will have added value after the All-Star break if the Raptors focus more on player development and improving their draft lottery odds.

RJ Barrett (conditioning) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Barrett is fit enough to return from a five-game layoff after suffering a concussion. Ochai Agbaji will likely be forced back to the bench as a result, which will eliminate the streaming value that he held.

RJ Barrett (concussion) is out for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Tuesday’s game will be the fifth straight Barrett misses due to the league’s concussion protocol. While Ja’Kobe Walter replaced him in the lineup for the first two games, Ochai Agbaji received the nod in the last two. Both players will be worthy of deep-league streaming consideration, with Walter offering a slightly higher offensive ceiling.

RJ Barrett (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
No surprise here as Barrett is still yet to clear concussion protocol. The 24-year-old small forward is set to miss his fourth straight game. Ja’Kobe Walter figures to continue to fill in for Barrett, though he’s not an enticing streaming option.

RJ Barrett (concussion) has been ruled out against Oklahoma City on Friday.
This will be a third straight absence for Barrett, which should mean a third straight start for rookie Ja’Kobe Walter. Walter has scored in double figures and had two steals in each of Toronto’s last two games. He isn’t a great streaming option, but he’ll continue to play a significant role for the Raptors.

RJ Barrett (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against Memphis.
Barrett will miss a second straight game, which means that rookie Ja’Kobe Walter should get another start. He had 13 points, two steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes as a starter on Tuesday and has scored in double figures in three straight games.
  • TOR Small Forward #9
RJ Barrett (concussion) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s Raptors-Knicks games.
Barrett is in concussion protocol and won’t suit up against his old team. Ja’Kobe Walter will be among the top options to replace him in the starting lineup.

RJ Barrett had 19 points (8-of-17 FGs), nine rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer against the Bulls on Friday.
Barrett was hardly efficient Friday as he scored 19 points on 17 shots. He was 8-of-17 from the field including 1-of-4 from behind the 3-point line. The 24-year-old small forward also had an off-night from the foul line as he was 2-of-6 on free throws. Still, he was just one rebound away from a double-double. Barrett has played much better than this of late and is established enough to have earned patient from fantasy managers.

RJ Barrett finished Monday’s win over the Pelicans with 17 points (8-of-18 FGs, 0-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
Barrett’s percentages weren’t the best on Monday, but he continues to have his best season as a pro in terms of fantasy value. The Raptors wing has been a top-100 player in 8-cat formats, which he’s never achieved as a pro. At this point, the most significant concern for fantasy managers would be Toronto prioritizing its draft lottery odds, which may result in some of the team’s proven players getting the occasional “injury management” night. We aren’t there yet, but Toronto has won four straight and six of its last seven games.

RJ Barrett lit up the Hawks with 23 points (9-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal and three 3-pointers on Saturday.
Barrett’s 23 points in this game were his most in almost three weeks, but what has been impressive from him lately has been his shooting efficiency. He hasn’t taken as many shots, but he has made at least 65% of his attempts in three straight games, all if which have been wins for the Raptors. Barrett’s recent shooting success has him ranked just outside the top-100 in 9-cat leagues over the past two weeks. He’ll look to keep that going during their upcoming four-game week, which starts with a home matchup with New Orleans on Monday.
