Ramon Sessions is reportedly not interested in signing overseas during the lockout.
Sessions has received interest, as expected, but he’s comfortable “working out in Atlanta and focusing on the upcoming NBA season.” With Baron Davis and Kyrie Irving both in Cleveland, Sessions will be a hot trade target whenever the season gets underway.

Ramon Sessions has not demanded a trade out of Cleveland.
Sessions is playing a good soldier while operating behind wildly impressive rookie Kyrie Irving. He knows he doesn’t have to ask for a trade because the Cavs are shopping him anyway. The highly-productive per-minute point guard has been linked to the Hawks and Lakers. More suitors figure to line up as the March 15 deadline approaches.

Newly acquired Ramon Sessions is expected to start at point guard for the Lakers.
As expected. Derek Fisher is in Houston and Steve Blake will stick in his backup role. Sessions is now a good bet to push for 30 minutes, giving him plenty of fantasy upside. In 89 career starts, Sessions has averaged 14.8 points, 7.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals. He’ll be the fourth offensive option for the Lakers, but he’s a playmaker.

Beat writer Jason Lloyd said on Twitter Thursday that Ramon Sessions is expected to be traded by the Cavaliers today.
He hinted that they might not get as much in return for him as they’d hoped (first-round pick), but that it sounds like he won’t be with the Cavs for much longer. If he goes to a team starved for a starting point guard (Lakers), he could have some real fantasy value down the stretch.

Ramon Sessions will reportedly be traded to the Lakers for a future draft pick according to former Cavs beat writer Brian Windhorst.
Hopefully you had him stashed, but if you didn’t go run and pick him up right now for his expected low-to-mid round value. He’ll battle for touches with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers’ bigs, but will have plenty of value in a minimum 30-minute minute role manning the controls. This signals that Steve Blake is likely heading to Portland, which will hit Raymond Felton pretty hard if he stays with the team. This would confirm rumors that Luke Ridnour is not a part of the Jamal Crawford deal, as well.
  • ORL Small Forward
Christian Eyenga has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Eyenga is part of the Ramon Sessions trade and is an interesting prospect for the Lakers to bring aboard. Despite his athleticism, he’s not a threat to garner serious playing time right now.
  • CLE Coaching Staff #4
Luke Walton has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of a deal that sends Ramon Sessions to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The fact that Mitch Kupchak got someone to take Walton’s ridiculous contract is incredible, and this was a move that the Lakers had to make. Walton has struggled to crack Los Angeles’ rotation all season, but there is a chance that he’ll see some playing time in Cleveland. Regardless, he’s not a fantasy option in any league.

Newly acquired PG Ramon Sessions could make his Lakers debut on Friday against the Wolves.
It’s unclear if he will, but because he does not need to pass a physical he at least has a chance to go. If the Lakers do throw him in the fire, owners will have to try and get a read on whether or not they intend to play him a full set of minutes. Sam Amico, who covers the Cavs beat, said it is more likely that he plays on Sunday against the Jazz, and he’ll be flying from Cleveland to L.A. on Thursday night.
  • LAL Small Forward #24
Kobe Bryant scored 28 points on 8-of-20 shooting (1-of-4 from deep, 11-of-11 from the line) with two rebounds, zero assists, and no steals or blocks in 37 minutes on Friday against the Rockets.
The shin issue might be a bit of a bigger issue than anybody has let on, as evidenced by the lack of activity numbers tonight. The decreased production isn’t thrilling in those categories, but Kobe’s overall ability to play is nowhere near in doubt. Ramon Sessions scored 10 points with six rebounds and seven assists, and Pau Gasol added 14 points with 10 boards, five assists, and a block in the loss.

Ramon Sessions sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder against the Clippers on Wednesday, but will play against Houston on Friday.
Sessions will wear a protective pad in the game, but is safe to keep in your fantasy lineups.
