  • DEN Small Forward #8
Peyton Watson provided a boost off the bench with three points (1-of-2 FGs), four rebounds, four assists and six blocks against the Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Watson and Christian Braun didn’t have the most impressive stat lines, but they ended up closing out the win for Denver. Braun had a pair of dunks with about three minutes left that forced Minnesota to call a timeout, and Watson followed that up by blocking a 3-point attempt from Naz Reid and dunking it on the other end. That was one of Watson’s six swats as he set a new career-high. He set his previous career-high of five just two games ago. Watson has taken on a larger role in his second season, and if he plays well in the playoffs, he could be a late-round target in fantasy drafts next year.
  • DEN Power Forward #50
Aaron Gordon (right foot strain) and Reggie Jackson (illness) are questionable to play against Atlanta on Saturday.
Gordon was initially listed as probable, but he has been downgraded to questionable. If he is forced to sit out, Peyton Watson will likely take on the starting power forward role. Jackson and Jamal Murray are both questionable, so if they are both sidelined, Collin Gillespie and Christian Braun will likely fill out some of the point guard minutes, though Nikola Jokic will be the primary playmaking option.
  • DEN Point Guard #27
Jamal Murray (left ankle sprain) and Aaron Gordon (right plantar fascia sprain) have been ruled out for Monday’s game against Memphis.
Murray will miss a second straight game, which Gordon will join him in his first absence since December. Reggie Jackson should get another start, with Peyton Watson as the likely candidate to replace Gordon in the opening group.
  • DEN Power Forward #50
Aaron Gordon (right plantar fascia strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Gordon lands on the injury report after taking on a starring role in Saturday’s win over Portland. The Nuggets were without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray for that one, significantly impacting Gordon’s usage. Should he not be cleared to play on Monday, Peyton Watson would be worth streaming.
  • DEN Center #15
Nikola Jokic (low back pain, left hip inflammation) and Jamal Murray (left ankle sprain) are questionable for Monday’s matchup with Memphis.
Both guys sat out Saturday against the Trail Blazers, and there’s a chance they miss a second straight. There’s no indication that either injury is particularly serious, but given the easy matchup, it’s possible the Nuggets are being cautious with their two best players in anticipation of another deep playoff run. DeAndre Jordan, Peyton Watson and Reggie Jackson are all names to remember when considering streaming options for Monday.
  • DEN Point Guard #27
Nikola Jokic (low back pain/left hip inflammation) and Jamal Murray (left ankle sprain) are questionable to play against Portland on Saturday.
Denver’s two stars could both be sidelined for Saturday’s game, which would open up plenty of minutes and shots. Murray exited during the fourth quarter of their last game, and if he remains sidelined for this one, Reggie Jackson will likely fill his starting spot. Jokic hasn’t missed a game since January, and if he is out, they will replace him with either DeAndre Jordan or Peyton Watson, with Aaron Gordon starting at center if it is the latter.
  • DEN Power Forward #22
Zeke Nnaji (low back pain) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Nnaji was initially questionable for Tuesday’s game and has officially been ruled out. His absence will not significantly impact fantasy basketball. Peyton Watson could absorb the minutes that would have gone to Nnaji, as the Timberwolves will also be shorthanded in the frontcourt.
  • DEN Small Forward #1
Michael Porter Jr. (right knee tendinopathy) is available for Monday’s game against the Bucks.
Porter is back in action after the knee issue sidelined him for Saturday’s loss to the Kings. Peyton Watson will drop to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a significant hit.

Michael Porter Jr. (right knee tendinopathy) is probable for Monday’s game against the Bucks.
Porter is on track to return after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Kings. If MPJ is cleared, Peyton Watson will return to the bench. While Watson’s had his moments this season as a streamer, he struggled in Sacramento.
  • DEN Small Forward #8
Peyton Watson played 20 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets, scoring four points (2-of-4 FGs) with three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks.
Watson moved into the starting lineup on Friday with Michael Porter Jr. sidelined. Unfortunately, he had a rough night, as the three “stocks” were countered by four turnovers. Watson can still offer value as a streamer, but nights like Friday won’t inspire confidence in fantasy managers. Justin Holiday, who made another start for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, accounted for 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
