Jalen Suggs posted a strong line on Sunday with 12 points (4-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals, one triple and five turnovers against the Nets.

Suggs was limited by foul trouble, but he still ended up being one of six Magic players to score in double figures in this game. This was their second straight game against the Nets, and Suggs fouled out of both of them. This northeast road trip continues against the Knicks on Tuesday, where Suggs will hopefully get back to staying out of foul trouble. It hasn’t been an issue all season, so managers shouldn’t expect that to continue to limit his minutes.

ORL Small Forward #22

Franz Wagner struggled with his shot on Sunday but still contributed 20 points (4-of-17 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), nine rebounds, eight assists and two blocks against the Nets.

Wagner had one of his worst shooting performances of the season, but he was still able to make a big impact in fantasy basketball. Wagner did his scoring at the free throw line and nearly recorded a triple-double. This was his second straight game approaching that mark, which would’ve been his first of the season. Until Paolo Banchero is back in the rotation, Wagner will continue to be among the elite players in fantasy basketball. When Banchero makes his return, Wagner may take a hit, but he has taken a true leap and should maintain strong numbers all season.

Goga Bitadze posted a full line on Sunday with 12 points (4-of-6 FGs), 13 rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in a 100-92 win over Brooklyn.

Even with Wendell Carter Jr. back in the lineup, Bitadze continues to thrive as the team’s starting center. In the three games since WCJ returned, Goga has averaged 10.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.0 blocks per game. He has continued to start, and he hasn’t lost out on minutes. Paolo Banchero’s eventual return may change things, but if Bitadze continues to play this well, it may be WCJ that is moved out of the starting unit. Managers should continue to enjoy top tier production out of Bitadze moving forward.

ORL Shooting Guard #3

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 19 points (7-of-8 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers against the Nets.

KCP has now had back-to-back good games. Fantasy managers in need of points and 3-pointers might want to give him a serious look. Caldwell-Pope is starting and playing around 30 minutes per game for the Magic. If he can continue to score around 20 points with at least three 3-pointers and chip in a few steals, he’ll certainly have fantasy value.

Franz Wagner had 29 points (12-of-20 FGs), eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers in the Magic’s 123-100 victory over the Nets on Friday.

Wagner continues to be the focal point of Orlando’s offense with Paolo Banchero out. He had another great game on Friday as he poured in 29 points on 20 shots, dished out eight assists and made 3-of-6 attempts from behind the 3-point line. He’s been a top-10 player in fantasy over the last three weeks and it seems like this is his new level while Banchero is out.

ORL Shooting Guard #14

Gary Harris (left hamstring strain) will not play in Friday’s game against the Nets.

Harris will miss a second straight game after straining his hamstring during Monday’s win over the Hornets. His absence won’t be particularly impactful in fantasy basketball, as Jalen Suggs returned to the lineup on Wednesday after sitting out that win over Charlotte.

Franz Wagner had 21 points (7-of-20 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Wagner struggled from the field, but ultimately got there on volume as he amassed 21 points on 20 shots. It helped that he went 6-of-6 from the free throw line. It wasn’t Wagner’s best game, but it shows how high his floor is with Paolo Banchero out that he can still get at least 20 points even when he’s not shooting particularly well. He’s been a top-10 player in fantasy over the last three weeks and that should continue with Banchero out.

ORL Shooting Guard #3

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 24 points (8-of-13 FGs), one rebounds, two assists, four steals and six 3-pointers against the Bulls on Wednesday.

KCP hadn’t made more than two 3-pointers or scored more than 13 points in any game this year entering Wednesday. He had only had at least 10 points three times prior to Wednesday. It was easily KCP’s best game of the season as he drilled six 3-pointers on his way to a 24-point outing. While he plays around 30 minutes per game, he’s still only an option in deeper formats.

ORL Point Guard #4

Jalen Suggs had 31 points (10-of-18 FGs), three rebounds, seven assists and four 3-pointers in the Magic’s 133-119 victory over the Bulls on Wednesday.

Suggs’ 31 points were a game-high in his return from a one-game absence with a hamstring injury. Franz Wagner has generally picked up the offensive slack for Orlando with Paolo Banchero out, but Suggs had the hot hand on Wednesday and the Magic rolled with it.

ORL Center #34

Jalen Suggs, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Franz Wagner, Goga Bitadze, and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Wednesday’s game against Chicago.

Carter is back after missing 12 games with a foot injury, but he will be limited to 14-16 minutes. That protects the fantasy values of Bitadze and Moritz Wagner in the short term. Also of note is Suggs’ return after sitting out Monday’s win over the Hornets due to injury. He steps in for Gary Harris, who is out with a hamstring strain.
