Cason Wallace logged 31 minutes in Tuesday’s win over Dallas, scoring 11 points (4-of-10 FGs) with eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers.
Wallace was a factor defensively, one of the reasons why Dallas committed 19 turnovers (OKC scored 36 points off of turnovers). His playing time was notable, with Isaiah Joe (9/3/3 with three 3-pointers) playing 17 minutes and Aaron Wiggins (three points, one steal, and one 3-pointer) nine. Wallace will be worth a longer look in deep leagues if that split continues.
  • OKC Center #55
Isaiah Hartenstein accounted for 10 points (5-of-11 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), 13 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 30 minutes in Tuesday’s win over Dallas.
Due to his hand injury before the season began, Hartenstein has only played nine games for the Thunder. However, he’s fit in seamlessly, filling the void left by the injured Chet Holmgren. Hartenstein is up to seven double-doubles in nine games, three shy of his total for the 2023-24 campaign. He’s providing 6th-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo ADP (82).
  • OKC Small Forward #8
Jalen Williams played 32 minutes in Tuesday’s win over Dallas, amassing 18 points (8-of-21 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot.
All five Thunder starters finished Tuesday’s win in double figures, including JDub. While his streak of 20-point games ended at four, Williams has scored 18 or more in six straight. And he’s joined Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as an elite fantasy option on the Thunder roster, providing 1st-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats. Next up for Oklahoma City is a semifinal matchup with the Warriors or Rockets on Saturday in Las Vegas.
  • OKC Point Guard #2
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 15-of-23 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 118-104 win over Dallas, scoring 39 points with eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block, and five 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
Gilgeous-Alexander was sensational in Tuesday’s NBA Cup quarterfinal, scoring efficiently and producing a stat line that would make most fantasy managers drool. The five 3-pointers matched his season-high (November 19 vs. San Antonio), and this performance came on the heels of a 2-of-13 run against the Raptors and Pelicans. Even without a consistent 3-point shot, Gilgeous-Alexander has been one of the most valuable players in fantasy basketball since arriving in Oklahoma City.
  • OKC Small Forward #88
Alex Ducas (lower back sprain) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Mavericks.
Ducas is not in the rotation when healthy, so his absence will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • OKC Point Guard #14
Adam Flagler (right fourth metacarpal fracture) will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks.
Flagler will be sidelined until January, but he hasn’t played a consistent role for the Thunder this season. His absence won’t have an impact on the team’s rotation.
  • OKC Point Guard #22
Cason Wallace logged 27 minutes in Saturday’s win over New Orleans, tallying five points (2-of-6 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one 3-pointer.
Saturday’s performance wasn’t one of Wallace’s best scoring-wise, but the rebounds and steals were good value for the few managers who have him rostered. Wallace has been ranked just outside the top 75 in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Still, the inconsistent scoring and presence of Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins make it difficult to fully commit to any of them in fantasy.
  • OKC Small Forward #8
Jalen Williams amassed 27 points (10-of-19 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, four steals, and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Saturday’s win over New Orleans.
JDub has scored 20 points or more in four straight games, matching his longest run of the season. As good as Williams was last season, he’s taken another step forward during the first seven weeks of the 2024-25 campaign. He’s provided top-10 per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo ADP (36).
  • OKC Point Guard #2
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished Saturday’s 119-109 win over New Orleans with 31 points (10-of-18 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
While this wasn’t SGA’s cleanest night regarding ball control, as the assists and turnovers were equal (four each), he still shot over 50% from the field. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 30 points or more in 11 of his 23 appearances this season and ranks among the best players in fantasy basketball, regardless of league size or format. Oklahoma City is off until its Emirates NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup with Dallas on Tuesday.
  • OKC Point Guard #22
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Luguentz Dort, Jalen Williams, and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
There’s just one change to the lineup that started Thursday’s win over Toronto, with Wallace replacing Isaiah Joe. While Wallace, Joe, and Aaron Wiggins have all played credible rotation minutes, the former has been slightly more reliable regarding category league value.
