Noah Clowney amassed 22 points (6-of-9 FGs, 6-of-10 FTs), five rebounds, two steals, one block and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Mavericks.
After totaling 28 points on 9-of-25 shooting in Brooklyn’s first three games out of the All-Star break, Clowney snapped out of his mini-slump on Tuesday. He shot 4-of-5 from beyond the arc while also recording a stat line that only lacked an assist. With the Nets focused on strengthening their draft lottery odds, Clowney’s playing time should not be a concern the rest of the season.
  • BKN Guard #30
Ochai Agbaji notched 13 points (5-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one block and three three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Cavaliers.
After playing 16 minutes in his Nets’ debut, Agbaji logged 28 minutes on Thursday and was reasonably productive. However, his best chance at fantasy relevance may come on nights when Michael Porter Jr. and Noah Clowney are either unavailable or play limited minutes. That was the case in Cleveland, with MPJ playing 21 minutes and Clowney (eight points, one rebound, two assists and two three-pointers) playing 20. Agbaji isn’t a must-add, but he is worth keeping an eye on.
  • BKN Forward #17
Nolan Traoré, Egor Dëmin, Michael Porter Jr., Noah Clowney and Day’Ron Sharpe will start Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Porter and Clowney are back after sitting out the Nets’ final game before the All-Star break. The return of those two means that Terance Mann and Ziaire Williams will come off the bench, eliminating most of their streaming value. Danny Wolf’s playing time will also take a hit, but he offers a higher fantasy upside than Mann or Williams.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (knee) and Noah Clowney (back) are off the injury report for Thursday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
Both players sat out Brooklyn’s last game before the All-Star break, and both will be back against Cleveland. Expect MPJ and Clowney to handle their usual workloads, which means less playing time for Danny Wolf, Terance Mann and Ziaire Williams.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (ankle) is now out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Initially declared available for Wednesday’s game, Clowney experienced discomfort in his left ankle while going through with his pregame workout. So he won’t be available, joining Nic Claxton on the sidelines. Ziaire Williams may move into the starting lineup, with Jalen Wilson in line to pick up additional minutes as well.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (ankle) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Clowney was initially questionable for Wednesday’s game, so the upgrade in status was expected. He will occupy his usual place within the Nets starting lineup.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (ankle) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Clowney, who scored 22 points in Monday’s win over the Bulls, is dealing with a sprained left ankle. The good news is that he’s listed as probable, so availability may not be an issue for the Nets forward. If Clowney can’t play on Wednesday, that could be a spot where Josh Minott gets to make his Nets’ debut as a reserve. Ziaire Williams, who has started games in the past, would figure more prominently in the rotation.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney finished Monday’s win over the Nets with 22 points (7-of-11 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, one block and four three-pointers.
After scoring 18 points in Sunday’s win over the Wizards, Clowney recorded his first 20-point game since a January 16 win over the Bulls. The Nets’ forward/center has also made four three-pointers in consecutive games, the first time he’s done that this season. Brooklyn is clearly focused on ending the season with the best draft lottery odds possible, but fantasy managers should not be too concerned about Clowney’s minutes down the line.
  • BKN Forward #2
Danny Wolf amassed 16 points (7-of-11 FGs), seven rebounds, six assists and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Wizards.
Unlike earlier this season, Wolf’s minutes weren’t wholly dependent upon Michael Porter Jr.'s workload. The rookie forward/center essentially served as Noah Clowney’s backup on Saturday, with both players producing solid stat lines. Clowney logged 27 minutes, finishing with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers. Wolf has “silly season standout” potential, especially if the Nets decide to cut Porter’s and Clowney’s minutes, if not sit them outright on occasion.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Nolan Traoré, Egor Dëmin, Michael Porter Jr., Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton will start Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Porter and Clowney are back after multi-game absences, with the former missing the last two games and the latter the previous five. Their returns push Terance Mann and Danny Wolf to the bench, with Traoré starting alongside Dëmin in the backcourt.
