Tony Wroten tore his ACL in January. So did Kendall Marshall
Neither 76ers guard has played this season, but that will apparently change soon.
That means Phil Pressey, signed through an injury hardship, must go.

Wroten led the 76ers with 16.9 points per game last season. Marshall’s 8.8 assists per game two seasons ago would have been Philadelphia’s second-most ever (behind Maurice Cheeks’ 9.2 in 1985-86).
Safe to say, Wroten and Marshall will help this team in their own ways. They won’t turn the 1-19 76ers into winners, but they’ll at least nudge Philadelphia toward competency.
Wroten can play either guard spot. He might bump a struggling Nik Stauskas at shooting guard, or he could play point guard, where the 76ers have been especially overmatched.
Marshall’s production will factor in Wroten’s primary position. At his best, Marshall will set up Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel for better looks inside.
Of course, this all depends on Wroten and Marshall getting fully healthy. It might take a while for them to acclimate after such serious injuries.
But while that process occurs, how much worse could Philadelphia really look?
