On the same day that the Phoenix Suns got some bad injury news — P.J. Tucker will be sidelined six to eight weeks with back surgery — they got some good news to balance it out. According to the Arizona Republic‘s Paul Coro, Eric Bledsoe has been cleared for five-on-five scrimmaging after undergoing season-ending knee surgery in December.
This is good news for the Suns after Bledsoe was limited to just 31 games last season. There’s no word yet on how much he’ll be able to do once training camp starts in the last week of September, but it’s an encouraging sign that he’s been cleared to get back on the court.
