Announcement: ProBasketballTalk’s partner FanDuel is hosting a one-day $150,000 Fantasy Basketball league for Thursday’s NBA games. It’s just $25 to join and first prize is $20,000. Starts at 8pm ET on Thursday. Here’s the FanDuel link.

This was an especially inopportune time to lose Westbrook, because the Thunder – down in the standing due to all the games he and Durant missed due to injury – were playing Phoenix, the team they’re trying to catch in the standings.

Thankfully for Oklahoma City, Durant picked up the slack and scored a season-high 44 points in a 137-134 overtime victory. The Thunder are now just 1.5 games from eighth place in the Western Conference.

Suns, Oklahoma City is coming for you – especially Westbrook.
