Kris Humphries was in column of guys who expected to get paid this free agency, coming off his best year as a pro, only to find the market tighter than they thought. Maybe GMs expect the Kardashian effect to wear off now.
Looks like Humphries will stay put for the next season, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo.
This will give the Nets a solid inside presence — 10 points at a nice 54.4 shooting percentage last year plus he was strong on the boards at 10.4 per game — while preserving cap space for next year.
If Humphries puts up another year of 10 and 10 and he will get paid somewhere for more than one year.
