The Phoenix Suns today waived forward Kris Humphries.
Humphries, in his 12th NBA season, appeared in four games with the Suns after being acquired from Washington in a trade on Feb. 18, averaging 7.3 points and 8.0 rebounds.
The Suns’ roster now stands at 14 players.
Yahoo’s Marc Spears reports that Humphries has already committed to sign with the Hawks once he clears waivers:
Free agent forward Kris Humphries has committed to sign with the Hawks, a source told Yahoo Sports. The Suns just waived him today.

Since Humphries was waived before March 1, he will be eligible to play in the playoffs.
