LeBron James said Draymond Green’s trash-talking crossed a line, with the Warriors forward reportedly calling LeBron a b—.
But plenty of players have called LeBron a b—. Why would this instance lead to such hostility?
Bill Simmons of The Ringer, as transcribed by Jordan Heck of Sporting News:
“I heard Draymond, I heard he didn’t say the b-word. I heard it began with an F and ended with boy,” Simmons said. “That’s why I think LeBron took it so personally. I’m sure LeBron has been called the b-word before. He really got upset, his feelings got hurt. It’s really hard to hurt LeBron’s feelings. … Something happened.”
File this under: Too good to check.
Also, can’t Simmons just say the word on an HBO podcast?
