Following a solid playoff performance — 7.9 points a game with a .542 true shooting percentage, in more than 16 minutes a game — the Memphis Grizzlies have decided to keep Beno Udrih around.
The point guard reached a two year deal to stay in Memphis, reports Marc Stein of ESPN.

Mike Conley, a borderline All-Star player, is going to get the bulk of the minutes at the point. Behind him Nick Calathes played well at the end of last season, until getting a 20-game ban for violating the NBA’s banned substance policy. Memphis can retain Calathes’ rights for less than $1 million, but he told the team he wants to be let go to play for Panathinaikos in Greece next season, according to reports out of Europe.
If the Grizzlies are going to let him go, Udrih is a reasonable backup point who can give them 15-20 minutes a night.
