Nobody wants to get clowned on by Shaquille O’Neal, especially if you’re a professional NBA player with corporate endorsements who likely already made a mistake in front of millions on national TV.

But according to Shaqtin’ A Fool producer Mike Goldfarb, a “consensus top-5 player” requested that he be kept off the Inside the NBA segment on TNT.

Via Twitter:

You could speculate wildly about who this player is. Top 5 could implicate Russell Westbrook, James Harden, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, or any other number of players right there on that fringe.

I blame this one on the Internet age. If we were still calling these “bloopers” and Ahmad Rashad was hanging out with dudes calling them his main man nobody would bat an eye. Get called a fool on national TV?

Agents calling agents.
