Phil Jackson tweeted that Stephen Curry reminded him of Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf.
That generated plenty of backlash, and today, the Knicks president responded.
Jackson:
How does commenting on Rauf mean I'm comparing him to Curry?

Remind, yes, quick release, cross over, Yep, MVP, nope. Get a grip!
It’s worth noting when a comparison is stylistic or qualitative, and there similarities in style between Curry and Abdul-Rauf (at least if you squint hard enough to look past how much better Curry is than Abdul-Rauf).
Of course, Jackson knew that when he sent his initial, vague tweet. And he knew how people would take it.
But he got everyone talking about Phil Jackson, so mission accomplished.
