The NBA season is a marathon and by those standards we are just entering mile three, there is a ridiculously long way still to go.
But there are some early surprises in the Eastern Conference, and that’s what Jenna Corrado and I discuss in this latest PBT Extra.
The Raptors are off to a fast start at 6-1, but we knew they’d be good (remember, they were the No. 3 seed last year). But their defense has impressed early. On the other side, Miami’s offense has impressed and gotten them off to a nice start... but let’s not go to contender status with them yet.
Deron Williams and Brooklyn are off to a nice start but against a soft schedule so far. We’ll get a better sense of them the next couple weeks.
