Paul Pierce was honored with a spot in the starting lineup on Sunday for his final game at the TD Garden. The former Boston Celtics great is now with the Los Angeles Clippers, and there was quite a series of moments honoring his legacy before Pierce took the floor in Boston for the last time.
The cap came at the end of the game, with less than 20 seconds left on the clock. Down by 8 points and no hope to win, the Clippers had Pierce take a 3-pointer to close it out.
That’s when Pierce did this:

A pretty cool way for Pierce to go out, knocking down a three like that.
Boston beat the Clippers, 107-102.
