Mike Conley becomes all-time Grizzlies scoring leader in return from spine injury

Mike Conley suffered a broke his spine just a few weeks ago. On Friday, he returned to the lineup for the Memphis Grizzlies against the Sacramento Kings, recording eight points, six assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

In doing so, Conley became just the 8th player in NBA history to become a franchise record-holder in points, assists, and steals.

The honor puts him in place with NBA greats Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Gary Payton, Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade, Reggie Miller, and Isaiah Thomas.

As of publish date, Conley now has 8,969 points in a Grizzlies uniform, passing Pau Gasol with 8,966.

Conley had already been the steals (989) and assists (3,681) leader by significant margin.
