LeBron James has played with a headband in just about every game of his NBA career.
The look has become iconic, and has also been the subject of a bit of mockery, thanks to the way it’s grown over the years to cover a thinning hairline.
But James may be done with it -- or, at least he was for one night. He took the floor in Dallas without it on Tuesday, and the Cavaliers rolled.
From Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com:
James famously played without a headband in the 2013 NBA Finals, but only for a late-game stretch after it was knocked from his head.
Against the Mavericks, James finished with 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting, to go along with seven rebounds and eight assists in just 29 minutes of action -- in a game Cleveland won by 33 points.
