LeBron James, a former teammate of Brown’s and his opponent in the 2003 High School Dunk Contest, thinks Brown will win this year’s contest. Brown is a former first-round draft pick of the Cavaliers. During his stint with the team, he was never able to stay in the rotation consistently, and left the Cavaliers in the eight-player trade between Cleveland, Chicago, and the then-Sonics. A year ago, James suggested he might participate in the dunk contest himself. However, that never materialized, and Brown comes into the contest as the favorite.
