ABC’s Lakers at Cavaliers game seemed like a better national television call: Kobe Bryant vs. LeBron James. Two huge fan bases to drive ratings.
By the time the game tipped off Sunday, we all figured that clip above was pretty much how the game would look. The Lakers are one of the NBA’s worst teams, their defense struggles, and the Cavaliers had won 12 of 13 with a red hot offense.
Kyrie Irving gave us what we expected. He put a spin move on Jeremy Lin, used the pick, drove the lane then hit Timofey Mozgov with the pass for the easy dunk.
The Cavaliers cruised to an easy win. As expected.
