The Sacramento Kings have been one of the worst franchises in the league in terms of wins and losses, essentially since their inception. But there was a stretch where the team played an entertaining style of basketball that resulted in eight straight postseason appearances, and Peja Stojakovic was a big part of that before being traded in 2006.

Sacramento retired Peja’s jersey on Tuesday, which was a well-deserved honor considering all he meant to those Kings teams.
