Kevin Durant simply would not let the Thunder lose, and even against a dreadful Pistons team, it’s a message that other teams in the playoffs will certainly be aware was sent.

The Thunder trailed all game long, and by as many as 10 in the fourth quarter before Durant decided to take things over. He scored 21 of his game-high 42 points in the final period, and with the outcome hanging in the balance, simply went to the rim and dunked the ball without hesitation.

Oklahoma City clinched the two seed in the Western Conference with the victory, and will open the playoffs on Saturday against the Grizzlies.
