Kevin Durant is a gigantic, tall, gangly-armed human being. The release on his jumper is higher than many of us could even fathom if we had to get down in an athletic stance and guard it ourselves.

Good thing Brandon Ingram is also a gigantic, tall, gangly-armed human being. It makes it easier to block guys like Durant.

On Friday during the matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers, Durant went up for a 3-point shot and had a little surprise from Ingram.

The Lakers rookie did as he was taught in practice by closing out from the top, and wound up with a swipe across the side of Durant’s jumper.

Ingram then recovered the ball and earned himself an assist at the other end of the floor on the subsequent fastbreak bucket.
