John Wall and adidas were in the Halloween spirit on Friday, surprising D.C. kids by answering the door of an unassuming row house in Capitol Hill and presenting trick-or-treaters with pairs of his newly-launched signature shoe, the J Wall 1.
With a few of the kids wearing Wizards hats (and one of them wearing a J Wall logo t-shirt), this probably wasn’t as much of a surprise as we’re being led to believe. Still, the sentiment of Wall taking time out to give away shoes and Wizards tickets to some neighborhood kids is fantastic under any set of circumstances.
