John Wall was once again out of the lineup for the Wizards, but the Hawks were getting crushed by Washington in the first half nonetheless.
That may have been part of the reason that Jeff Teague went headhunting when Bradley Beal had a clear path to the basket on a fast break, a dangerous play that was ruled a flagrant-one at the time.Jeff Teague almost “bitched” out of this game. Only a Flagrant 1. Not what “leaders” do when their team is being exposed.

It’s tough to disagree.
Although Atlanta was affected by Paul Millsap dealing with flu-like symptoms which forced him out of the starting lineup, that’s not enough of a reason for the Hawks to shoot 39 percent from the field in the first half and trail by as many as 18 points.
