Pascal Siakam has quietly had a strong rookie season for the Raptors, he probably would be second or third in Rookie of the Year voting right now (behind Joel Embiid and probably Jamal Murray). He’s started all 23 games for the second-best team in the East, not done a lot on offense (5.9 points per game) but has been efficient doing it (58.6 true shooting percentage) and has played solid defense.
Just ask Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Greek Freak gets to the rim as well as anyone in the league, but Siakam shut him down in the first quarter of Monday night’s Bucks/Raptors game.
