One of the truly great little men ever to play in the NBA.
He is the only player ever to lead the NBA in points and assists in the same season, back when he had to carry the Kings offense. He was a six-time All-Star who did win a ring as a member of the 1981 Celtics.
What I wish we had more of in the NBA now was guys who pushed the tempo and attacked like Archibald. It’s why we like Iverson and now Rose. We need more fearless and relentless guys like that in the league.
