Brandon Roy may be back on the court Friday

Brandon Roy, he of the pretty much permanently screwed up knees, is practiced with the Blazers again on Wednesday and may play Friday, he told the Oregonian.

“I went through the whole practice and felt pretty good,’' Roy said. “But I will take it one day at a time and try to get as close as I can to feeling good about the game on Friday.’'

The Blazers could use him Friday as they face Chris Paul and the Hornets. Clearly Roy is never again going to be THAT Brandon Roy, but even with his hobbled knees he is the best playmaker and fulcrum of the offense the Blazers have, plus he was averaging 18.1 points per game. They are better with him on the court, so it will be good to have him back.
