Bradley Beal leaves with toe injury, does not return

Bradley Beal is the Wizards’ second leading scorer behind John Wall, and is an important cog in the team’s offense overall.

He was forced out of action with a toe injury on Thursday after just 11 minutes, and was unable to return. As a result, Washington managed to score just 87 points against an improving Hornets team, and dropped their fifth straight game.

Beal was 0-for-5 and had just one point at the time of his exit with 1:03 left. He went to the bench during a timeout and was worked on by head athletic trainer Eric Waters. They immediately left for the locker room.

In a loss to the Toronto Raptors earlier in the week, Beal needed extra attention in the trainer’s room because of his foot but has played through it.
