Bradley Beal is the Wizards’ second leading scorer behind John Wall, and is an important cog in the team’s offense overall.
He was forced out of action with a toe injury on Thursday after just 11 minutes, and was unable to return. As a result, Washington managed to score just 87 points against an improving Hornets team, and dropped their fifth straight game.
From J. Michael of CSN Washington:Beal was 0-for-5 and had just one point at the time of his exit with 1:03 left. He went to the bench during a timeout and was worked on by head athletic trainer Eric Waters. They immediately left for the locker room.
In a loss to the Toronto Raptors earlier in the week, Beal needed extra attention in the trainer’s room because of his foot but has played through it.
