Imagine going to a wedding to find that a Hall of Fame basketball player is serving as the judge. That’s exactly what happened on Sunday, when legendary Blazers, Clippers and Celtics big man and all-around awesome human Bill Walton oversaw a wedding.

A few things here:
1. Photos like this underscore how much taller legendary NBA big men are than normal people. The bride and groom look like children next to the seven-foot Walton.
2. Since when is Bill Walton an ordained minister? Hard to see that one coming. Unless he got his certificate on one of those websites.
3. I’m not even close to being at a point in my life where I’d be thinking about getting married, but if that day ever comes, I’m making every effort to get Walton to officiate.
