There’s not a lot anybody can do to slow down Blake Griffin. When he decides to go up for a dunk, you either contest it and risk getting put on a poster or get out of the way. Sacramento Kings guard Ben McLemore tried to stop him on Sunday, and it didn’t end well:
Griffin was understandably furious, but teammates and opponents restrained him to keep the situation from escalating. It was rightly called a flagrant foul on McLemore — it had to be, since it was such a dangerous play — but it didn’t look like there was any ill intent on his part. But these are the kinds of shots Griffin takes all the time.
