Another day, another thunderous Blake Griffin dunk

There is this buzz at Clippers games now — people know it is coming.

At some point Blake Griffin is going to get behind the defense, the lob will go up higher than any human should be able to catch it and Griffin will get it and throw it down. Every time he touches the ball, every time he is running with the break you feel Clippers fans (and there are a lot of them now) ready and eager to leap out of their seats.

Griffin didn’t disappoint Wednesday night.

Kyle Korver deserves some credit here. A lot of defenders would have shied away from the play because they don’t want to end up dunked on in the SportsCenter highlight. Not Korver, he tries to break up the lob, he tries to defend the play. The only problem: he’s human and Griffin can jump higher than that.
