Andrew Bogut will miss the Warriors’ game on Friday against the Spurs, and is out indefinitely due to suffering from back spasms, head coach Mark Jackson told reporters before tip-off.
The ‘indefinitely’ part, along with Jackson’s demeanor while delivering the news, may be cause for legitimate concern.

Bogut has struggled to make it back from a severe ankle injury, and was just recently cleared to play in back-to-back games for the first time all season. He’s appeared in eight of his team’s last 10 games, including the last three straight. But his presence in the lineup hasn’t helped as the team had planned.
The Warriors just snapped a six-game losing streak that began before the All-Star break with a win over the dismal Suns on Wednesday. Golden State got off to its hot start with Bogut sidelined, and though the team is certainly not better off without him in the long run, they may be able to regain that early-season stride by once again playing with him out of the lineup for what may be an extended period of time, pending those test results.
