The Cavaliers are one of three teams with enough cap space to go after Michael Redd this summer, and it makes sense that he would land in Cleveland.
He’s from Columbus, attended Ohio Sate University and has family in Cleveland. Redd would be a perfect outside threat for the Cavs and if they sign him, they’ll be a top team not only in the East, but the entire league. Redd is in Cleveland today as the Bucks take on the Cavs.

Michael Redd (finger) will be back in the lineup tonight, but the Bucks are trying to decide if they should trade him by Thursday.
Redd, who missed three games, was able to handle a two-hour practice yesterday, so he’s good to go. Redd is in the final year of a contract that pays him $3 million this season; he’ll be an unrestricted free agent after July 1. The personal feeling here is that Redd is a very good player, but not someone around whom you build a team. The Bucks are a very mediocre team right now, and should look to get attractive young players and draft picks while they can. Golden State, Portland, Minnesota, Cleveland and Memphis are all believed to be interested in Redd.

Michael Redd has not ruled out playing Wednesday in Milwaukee’s final game before the all-star break. If he does play, he will have to wear a protective splint on his index finger.
Redd has missed two games with the injury. Considering the splint could effect his shot, it’s best to leave him reserved until after the break.

Michael Redd was named the Eastern Conference player of the month for January.
Redd averaged 22.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists while leading the Bucks to an 11-5 record. He had two 40-point performances during the month. Not surprisingly, Kevin Garnett took the honor from the Western Conference.

Bucks sign Michael Redd to a maximum deal worth at least $90 million over six years.
He’s a rather one-dimensional fantasy player, but he’s going to be great for the Bucks. He’s worth a fifth-round pick in fantasy leagues this season.

Michael Redd made 10-of-14 shots Tuesday to finish with 24 points.
Redd has proven this season to be one of the best outside shooters in the game. He might have an awkward shot, but it certainly works. Considering that he is a perimeter shooter, it’s amazing that Redd is shooting 48% from the field this season and 46% from behind the 3-point line.

The Bucks will unveil a new logo and the new color scheme June 28, the night of the NBA draft.
The new uniform, a team official said, will be unveiled in September and it’s rumored to have a featured color of red instead of purple.

Michael Redd caught fire off the bench, pouring in 16 points and a 3-pointer on 7-of-14 shooting in 16 minutes on Tuesday.
He did this a couple weeks ago too, but the good games are easily outweighed by the nights he’s invisible.

Michael Redd scored 14 points off the bench on Monday against the Wizards, hitting 4-of-9 shots from the field (including two threes) with four rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes.
Redd has cracked double-figure scoring just twice in seven games and averaged 1.0 triples during that time. Move along.

Veteran SG Michael Redd turned back the clock on Sunday with 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting (including three 3-pointers), his highest scoring total since January 2010.
Nobody has ever questioned the purity of Redd’s shooting stroke, and as long as his legs are fresh he’s capable of spot-shooting the lights out. He was averaging 4.1 points in his previous eight games, so don’t think about adding him outside of the very deepest leagues.
