Deni Avdija (thumb) is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Lakers and Shaedon Sharpe (knee) is questionable.
Sharpe has a better chance of being on the court for Sunday’s season finale, with he and Avdija missing Friday’s loss to the Warriors. Portland started Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray on the wings for that one, but both players offer limited offensive upside. Sunday could be a massive day for Sharpe if he’s allowed to play, with Murray being the player most likely to head to the bench.

Deni Avdija (thumb) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Warriors.
Avdija has missed the last two games and appears likely to miss a third on Friday. His absence has freed up a place in the starting lineup for Matisse Thybulle, who most recently recorded 12 points and six assists in Wednesday’s loss to the Jazz. He’s worth a look in active deep leagues, especially for managers needing steals.

Deni Avdija (thumb) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Avdija missed Sunday’s game against San Antonio and could miss a second-straight game when Portland takes on Utah. Matisse Thybulle started in his place, though Kris Murray ended up playing 33 minutes off the bench and scoring 18 points. Expect both wings to play a large role if Avdija remains out for another game.
  • POR Small Forward #33
Toumani Camara (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Spurs.
Camara is back after sitting out Friday’s game against the Bulls. He was replaced in the starting lineup by Matisse Thybulle, who may remain in that role since the Blazers will not have Deni Avdija. If so, that would preserve what little streaming value Thybulle possesses in fantasy leagues.

Deni Avdija (thumb) and Toumani Camara (ankle) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Spurs.
While Avdija was added to Portland’s injury report late on Friday, he still played 35 minutes in that night’s loss to the Bulls. As for Camara, he did not play after spraining his ankle during Thursday’s win over the Raptors. Matisse Thybulle logged 27 minutes as his replacement in the starting lineup but failed to provide the value needed to be a worthwhile streamer.
  • POR Small Forward #4
Dalano Banton, Shaedon Sharpe, Deni Avdija, Matisse Thybulle and Donovan Clingan will start Friday’s game against the Bulls.
The Trail Blazers are without Toumani Camara, who has an ankle injury. An equally elite defender replaces him as Thybulle moves into the lineup. Thybulle may not hit 30 minutes, but the opportunity to start makes him worth a look in deep leagues.
  • POR Small Forward #8
Deni Avdija (thumb) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Bulls.
Avdija is a late addition to the Trail Blazers’ injury report, which is an ominous development for those who have him rostered. With Toumani Camara also out, Dalano Banton’s fantasy ceiling should be raised, even if Anfernee Simons is available. Matisse Thybulle played 29 and 25 minutes in his last two appearances, and a similar workload will make him worthy of a look in deep leagues.
  • POR Power Forward #9
Jerami Grant (knee) and Toumani Camara (ankle) are out for Friday’s game against the Bulls.
No surprise here as Grant is set to miss his 13th game in a row with a knee injury. Camara is out after injuring his ankle Thursday against the Raptors. Shaedon Sharpe will continue to start for Grant while Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray could see increased minutes with Camara out.
  • POR Small Forward #33
Toumani Camara (ankle) and Anfernee Simons (arm) are questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Bulls.
Simons has missed two in a row, but he’s got a chance to return against Chicago. Camara injured his ankle in Thursday’s matchup with Toronto, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he sat out the second leg of Portland’s back-to-back set. Simons’ absence could free up more playing time for Dalano Banton, while Camara’s absence would mean more minutes for Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray.
  • POR Small Forward #33
Toumani Camara (ankle) will not return to Thursday’s game against the Raptors.
Camara’s exit was announced early in the fourth quarter, and he won’t be available to close out this game. Matisse Thybulle should take on extra minutes in his place, and if Camara misses Portland’s next game, Thybulle or Kris Murray would likely start in his place.
