The 76ers are sending their draft rights to Mathias Lessort to the Clippers as part of the Jimmy Butler deal.
Lessort was drafted with the No. 50 overall selection in the 2017 draft by Philly, but the Frenchman has yet to take his talents stateside, and it’s unclear exactly when that will happen. Ignore him.

The Philadelphia 76ers selected C Mathias Lessort with the 50th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
The 21-year-old Frenchman fared well in the Pro A French league, averaging 10.2 points, 7.2 boards, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 steals in 22.9 minutes per game. Lessort doesn’t have much of a perimeter game at 6’9", but the hope is his motor can get him a chance to show what he can do. He’ll likely need to add some bells and whistles to his game in order to become part of “The Product” in Philly.

Mathias Lessort is expected to spend at least one more season overseas.
He was the 50th overall pick in the draft and won’t be a lock to come to the states in 2018-19 either. He averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 boards, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 steals in 22.9 minutes per game in the Pro A French league, but the last thing the 76ers need right now is another big man. Jonah Bolden and Anzejs Pasecniks are also expected to stay overseas.

Sixers second-round pick Mathias Lessort received clearance from FIBA and is eligible to make his Summer League debut on Tuesday night.
Lessort was the 50th overall selection in the 2017 draft. He is expected to spend at least one season overseas, as the Sixers preference is to stash him there and avoid using a roster spot on yet another big man.

Mathias Lessort has signed to play with KK Crvena Zvezda in Serbia next season.
The Sixers selected Lessort with the 50th overall pick in the 2017 draft. The plan has always been to stash him in Europe for a year or two. Lessort’s contract with KK Crvena Zvezda is reportedly for three years, but very likely has an NBA opt-out clause should the Sixers want to bring him stateside in 2018-19.
