Luguentz Dort made an impact on both ends of the floor with 15 points (5-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, four steals, two blocks and five three-pointers in Game 1 against the Pacers on Thursday.
Dort is one of the best defensive players in the league, and he made his presence felt in Game 1 of this series. He collected six defensive stats and knocked down a team-high five triples to provide Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with some help on the offensive end. Dort’s offensive output will likely be inconsistent moving forward, but he’s capable of knocking down shots when he needs to. However, he’ll continue to dominate on the defensive end every night.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #5
Luguentz Dort accumulated 12 points (4-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, three steals and four three-pointers in Wednesday’s Game 5 win over the Timberwolves.
A pest defensively throughout the Western Conference Finals, Dort picked a good time to hit double figures for the first time in this series. He dropped four high-arcing three-pointers on Wednesday, and the 12 points are the most he’s scored since Game 5 of Oklahoma City’s second-round series against the Nuggets. Regardless of who the Thunder play in the NBA Finals, Dort will be the first line of defense against the opposing team’s best perimeter player. That will either be Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton or New York’s Jalen Brunson.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #5
Luguentz Dort came up big for the Thunder in their win over the Nuggets on Tuesday, finishing with 12 points (4-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, one assist and four three-pointers.
Well-known for his prowess on the defensive end, Dort’s offensive eruption in the fourth quarter helped the Thunder climb from out of a big hole to secure a come-from-behind win and move Oklahoma City one win closer to a trip to the conference finals. His three triples in the final frame were huge, but a late assist on a Jalen Williams three might have been the play that delivered the Thunder the victory. Dort’s double-digit outing marked his third of the series, and Oklahoma City would welcome another as it tries to close out the series on Thursday in Game 6.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #9
Alex Caruso accumulated 10 points (4-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, four steals, one block and one three-pointer in 23 minutes in Thursday’s Game 3 win over the Grizzlies.
Caruso’s stat line may not jump off the page, but his play was critical in Thursday’s Game 3 victory. Acquired from the Bulls last summer for games like this, the veteran guard was highly impactful defensively as Oklahoma City rallied from a 29-point deficit. Additionally, the Thunder employed a closing lineup that included Caruso and Luguentz Dort (two points, six rebounds, one steal, and one blocked shot), which made life difficult for a Grizzlies squad that played the second half without Ja Morant due to a hip injury. Oklahoma City will look to close out the series on Saturday.
  • OKC Point Guard #2
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (shin) and Luguentz Dort (knee) are out against the Pelicans on Sunday.
Gilgeous-Alexander and Dort will remain out for Sunday’s regular-season finale, which will not impact the Thunder’s playoff seeding. Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe started Friday’s win over the Jazz and should do the same on Sunday. Don’t be surprised if they put up big numbers after combining for 67 points against Utah.
  • OKC Point Guard #22
Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Luguentz Dort (injury management) are out for Wednesday’s game against the Suns.
The Thunder have ruled out four players from their rotation already. Wallace and Dort are more complementary players, but their absences will be felt nonetheless. Kenrich Williams figures to pick up additional minutes and could even move into the starting lineup Wednesday.

Luguentz Dort had a big first half on Tuesday and finished with 17 points (6-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and five three-pointers against the Lakers.
Dort got off to a blazing hot start to this game and entered halftime with 17 points and five three-pointers. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to add to his scoring total after the break. Dort, who had a total of 11 points during Oklahoma City’s two-game losing streak, bounced back well on Tuesday, though it seemed like he was going to have a monster night. He’ll look to stay hot on the second night of this back-to-back for OKC, assuming he doesn’t sit out.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #5
Luguentz Dort had 22 points (8-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, two steals, one block and six three-pointers against the Pacers on Saturday.
Dort isn’t a fantasy asset because he’s inconsistent. Saturday was one of those games where the 25-year-old shooting guard just happened to be feeling it. Dort poured in 22 points on 11 shots including six made three-pointers. Unfortunately, we’ve seen this movie from Dort before and know that his production against the Pacers ultimately isn’t sustainable. He can be safely left on waiver wires.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #5
Luguentz Dort recorded 10 points (4-of-6 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in 29 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Clippers.
Dort returned to the Thunder lineup after missing two games with a right hip impingement. While the stat line was modest, it was also complete. Rostered in 17 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Dort is ranked outside the top 150 in eight-cat formats over the past month. While there have been times during the season when he’s provided higher value than expected, Dort hasn’t done enough to merit being rostered in most 12-team leagues.

Luguentz Dort (hip) is available for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Dort is back after missing two games with a right hip impingement. His return means Aaron Wiggins heads to the bench, where the wing’s fantasy value takes a slight hit. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein complete the Thunder starting five.
