The Celtics are planning to meet with T.J. Warren and Lamar Stevens, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
The Celtics are looking to add some wing depth, and they’ll meet with both players this week. Neither guy contributed in fantasy last season, with Warren spending time in both Brooklyn and Phoenix, while Stevens played for Cleveland. If either player joins Boston, they’ll provide depth, but they won’t impact the fantasy hoops landscape. Hoops Hype’s Michael Scotto added that Louis King will also work out for the Celtics this week.
  • FA Shooting Guard #64
DJ Steward shot 8-of-16 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Monday’s 111-103 loss to the Mavericks, scoring 24 points with one rebound, two assists, and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
Steward gave the 76ers a welcome boost off the bench on Monday, but the 76ers were unable to hold on for the win. The undrafted rookie out of Duke is looking to land a training camp opportunity somewhere, and it’s worth noting that Philadelphia has one available two-way contract slot. With Louis King (nine points, two assists, three steals, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes) also in the mix for that final spot, the 76ers’ remaining Summer League games are vitally important to both players.
  • LAL Point Guard #20
Shake Milton played 36 minutes in Sunday’s 134-105 win over the Nets, accounting for 20 points (8-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.
Philadelphia rested its top seven players, and Brooklyn did the same, so Sunday’s matchup was anything but a preview of the playoff series that will begin next weekend. Milton took advantage of the extended minutes, as he was one of three 76ers to score 20 points while leading the team with eight assists. Mac McClung (20/9/9 with three 3-pointers) fell one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double, while Louis King (20/4/2/2 with four 3-pointers) shot 8-of-13 from the field. Paul Reed was a force inside, tallying 17 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, six blocks, and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes. He’ll be in the rotation next week as Joel Embiid’s backup.

  • PHI Small Forward #23
According to multiple reports, the 76ers have signed Louis King to a two-way contract.
King, who last appeared in an NBA game as a member of the Kings last season, has been a standout for the Rockets’ G League affiliate this season. He’s unlikely to factor into the 76ers’ rotation, so this will not impact fantasy basketball leagues. To free up a two-way slot for King, the 76ers have reportedly waived Saben Lee.

  • Center #30
Olivier Sarr started and had 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in just 13 minutes of Tuesday’s Summer League win over the Mavericks.
Sarr has looked very good for the Suns this season and might have earned himself a two-way deal along the way. Louis King has bounced around the G League after playing at Oregon and going undrafted in 2017. He led the Suns with 14 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, a block and a 3-pointer, and will just be hoping to make the team’s final roster, along with Sarr. The departure of Deandre Ayton (Indiana?) would help both guys’ chances.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #11
Langston Galloway was among the players who worked out for the Lakers during a free-agent workout on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
The Lakers could have as many as seven roster spots to fill this summer, and due to the team’s cap situation, there isn’t a lot of money available to do so. Hence the need to leave no stone unturned with regard to possibly signing veterans on team-friendly deals. In addition to Galloway, Kyle Guy, Alize Johnson, Louis King, and D.J. Wilson were among the players who were reported to be present at the workout.

  • PHI Small Forward #23
The Kings have waived Louis King.
King made a total of 16 appearances for the Kings across two seasons. He would need to land on a rebuilding team to have any shot at fantasy value.

  • PHI Small Forward #23
Louis King (health and safety protocols) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Grizzlies.
King wasn’t logging rotation minutes when healthy, so that’s unlikely to change once he’s officially cleared to return. He can be left on the waiver wire, regardless of league size.

  • PHI Small Forward #23
Louis King (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
King isn’t a part of Sacramento’s rotation on most nights when he’s healthy, so this news will not have an impact as far as fantasy basketball is concerned.

  • PHI Small Forward #23
Louis King scored 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting (4-of-8 3-pointers) and added three rebounds, and five steals to help the Kings lock down the Kings en route to a 100-67 blowout victory over the Celtics to win the Las Vegas summer league on Tuesday.
King has been great in summer league play leading Sacramento to a 5-0 record and a championship. Tuesday, Sacramento rode their defense to a blowout victory over a Boston team that was littered with guys with NBA experience such as Payton Pritchard, Aaron Nesmith, Carsen Edwards, and Bruno Fernando. Sacramento forced 28 Boston turnovers and scored 38 points off those turnovers, 36 of them coming through the first three quarters. Davion Mitchell scored just nine points and dished out seven assists, but his biggest impact was made on the defensive end as he locked down Payton Pritchard, holding him to his lowest scoring total of the summer league, with six points on 3-of-9 shooting (0-for-6 3-pointers) with six turnovers. Mitchell earned the name “off night” in college because his opponents typically had off nights when they played him and that certainly was the case on Tuesday.
