Colby Jones accounted for 20 points (9-of-18 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds and four assists in 42 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Heat.
Like fellow reserve Tristan Vukcevic, Jones experienced an increase in playing time due to the starter’s minutes being limited. Kyshawn George (5/2/1 with one three-pointer) played 15 minutes, with Jones being the beneficiary on a day when Washington only played seven. The second-year wing recorded his first career double-double, with the stat line including a career-high 10 rebounds. While George appears to have the edge regarding 2025-26 fantasy value, Jones is worth watching during Summer League play. The move from Sacramento to Washington has resulted in him receiving more opportunities to play, which he needed.

Kyshawn George amassed 13 points (4-of-10 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in 25 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the 76ers.
George only returned to the Wizards’ lineup on Tuesday after missing seven games with a sprained ankle. If anything, managers in active leagues with the rookie rostered should be pleased that he played both ends of a back-to-back at this stage in the season. George will likely take on a similar workload for Washington’s final two games, but he can still provide value. Colby Jones has played rotation minutes off the bench, and he finished Wednesday’s loss with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and two three-pointers in 32 minutes. There’s been room for him and George in the rotation, making both worth the risk in deep leagues.

Kyshawn George returned to the lineup on Tuesday and contributed nine points (4-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the Pacers.
Following a seven-game absence, George was back to play on Tuesday and immediately returned to the starting unit. He was on a hot streak prior to this ankle injury and showcased plenty of upside in fantasy, specifically with his ability to both knock down triples and swipe steals. He only contributed one of each on Tuesday, but he’ll look to increase his production over Washington’s final three games of the season. He may sit out the second night of this back-to-back since he just returned from an ankle injury. Keep an eye on the injury report for their game against the 76ers on Wednesday.
  • WAS Small Forward #18
Jordan Poole, Bub Carrington, Kyshawn George, Justin Champagnie and Alexandre Sarr will start against the Pacers on Tuesday.
George will immediately return to the starting unit in his first game back following a seven-game absence. He will replace fellow rookie AJ Johnson as part of the opening lineup, though Johnson should still play a significant role off the bench.
  • WAS Small Forward #18
Kyshawn George (ankle) is not on the injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Pacers.
George has been removed from the injury report after missing seven games with a sprained ankle. His availability impacts Justin Champagnie and AJ Johnson the most, as one will likely head to the bench. Champagnie can still provide solid value if asked to take on a reserve role; that isn’t the case for Johnson.
  • WAS Small Forward #32
Khris Middleton (knee) and Kyshawn George (ankle) are out against the Celtics on Sunday.
Middleton and George will remain out for Sunday’s game, with the former missing a fifth straight and the latter a seventh. Justin Champagnie and AJ Johnson have moved into the starting lineup, and both are worth streaming in deep leagues.

Khris Middleton (knee) and Kyshawn George (ankle) are out against the Magic on Thursday.
Middleton and George remain out for another game, with Middleton missing a fourth straight and George’s unfortunate streak extended to six straight. Justin Champagnie and AJ Johnson should stay in the starting lineup, with Champagnie being the preferred streaming option since he has a safer fantasy floor. Also, Colby Jones should play rotation minutes after missing Wednesday’s win over the Kings.
  • WAS Small Forward #18
Kyshawn George (ankle) and Khris Middleton (knee) are out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
George and Middleton will remain sidelined, with the former missing a fifth-straight game and the latter three straight. Justin Champagnie and AJ Johnson have moved into the starting lineup, with the former offering a safer fantasy floor. Due to the absences, both players are worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • WAS Small Forward #32
Khris Middleton (knee) and Kyshawn George (ankle) are out against the Heat on Monday.
Monday’s game will be the second missed by Middleton and the fourth by George. Their absences have freed up places in the starting lineup for Justin Champagnie and AJ Johnson, with the former being the player worth targeting in deep leagues.

Kyshawn George (ankle) and Khris Middleton (knee) are out for Saturday’s matchup with the Nets.
George sustained his ankle injury in Monday’s matchup with Toronto, and it will cost him a second straight game. Middleton’s continued absence isn’t a surprise, given the veteran’s recent injury history. While both players are sidelined, Justin Champagnie should see a substantial uptick in playing time.
