  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey accounted for 23 points (8-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 43 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 loss to the Knicks.
Maxey and the 76ers are now on the brink of elimination, and his production decreased in Philadelphia’s two home games. After shooting 54% from the field in Games 1 and 2 (68 points), Maxey shot 17-of-42 and scored 48 at home. That isn’t terrible, but the decrease becomes magnified when the “supporting cast” continues to offer limited value. Kyle Lowry (7/5/7 with one 3-pointer) shot 1-of-6 from the field, and Tobias Harris (10 points, eight rebounds) was 4-of-10. Game 5 is on Tuesday in New York, with Philadelphia facing a 3-1 deficit.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #8
De’Anthony Melton (back injury recovery) has been upgraded from questionable to active ahead of Thursday’s 76ers-Knicks game.
Melton is set to make his 2024 postseason debut. His nagging back injury has improved enough for him to hit the hardwood and his status will likely reduce Kyle Lowry’s minutes.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Tyrese Maxey, Kyle Lowry, Kelly Oubre Jr., Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid will start Friday’s game against the Magic.
Cameron Payne and Nicolas Batum return to the bench due to Maxey and Lowry’s availability for Friday’s game. Neither Payne nor Batum must be held onto in most fantasy leagues, especially on a 15-game night. Oubre, Harris, and Embiid complete the 76ers’ starting lineup.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Kyle Lowry (left knee effusion) is available for Friday’s game against the Magic, while KJ Martin (left great toe contusion) is out.
Martin’s continued absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he has consistently been on the back end of the 76ers rotation. As for Lowry, he may siphon some minutes away from Cameron Payne, but that isn’t enough to make him a player of value in most fantasy leagues.
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid (left knee injury recovery), Kyle Lowry (left knee effusion), and KJ Martin (left great toe contusion) are questionable for Friday’s game against the Magic.
While Embiid played 37 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pistons, Lowry and Martin sat due to their respective injuries. The reigning MVP’s status is most impactful to the 76ers rotation and fantasy basketball, with Paul Reed being the likely replacement if Embiid cannot play. As for Lowry and Martin, their continued absences would not significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey (left hip tightness) and Kyle Lowry (left knee effusion) are out for Tuesday’s game against the Pistons.
The 76ers are down at least two rotation guards for Tuesday’s game, with De’Anthony Melton (back) still considered questionable. The absences of Maxey and Lowry mean more playing time for Cam Payne, who’s worth streaming in active leagues.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Kyle Lowry (left knee effusion) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Pistons.
Held out of Sunday’s win over the Spurs for rest reasons, Lowry is now on the injury report due to a left knee effusion. The injury change is especially concerning as Philadelphia is not out of the woods regarding their quest to avoid the Play-In tournament. Earning a top-6 seed would get Lowry and Philadelphia’s other banged-up vets valuable rest time before the playoffs begin. As for fantasy leagues that remain active, Lowry has not been particularly impactful, whether he starts or comes off the bench.

Tyrese Maxey (left hip tightness) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Pistons.
Maxey is back on the injury report after playing 54 of a possible 58 minutes in Sunday’s double-overtime win over San Antonio. Given the opposition, Tuesday could be an opportunity for the 76ers to get additional rest for their All-Star point guard. If Maxey cannot play, Kyle Lowry (who did not play on Sunday) or Cameron Payne will fill the void. For fantasy leagues that remain active, Payne offers a higher ceiling.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Kyle Lowry (rest) will not play against the Spurs on Sunday.
Despite only playing 21 minutes in Saturday’s blowout win, Lowry will get the night off against the Spurs on Sunday. Cameron Payne should start in his place, where he has had some success recently. Buddy Hield should also take on a few extra minutes.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey (left hip tightness) is listed as questionable for the 76ers’ Saturday matchup with the Grizzlies.
Maxey nearly recorded a triple-double with 37 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds in his first appearance after a two-game hiatus against the Heat, but he’s back on the injury report. Kyle Lowry (29 rostered in Yahoo leagues) and Cam Payne (5% rostered) will likely start in the backcourt if Maxey sits again.
