  • WAS Center #43
Rookie forward Kris Humpries is a candidate to come off the injured list if Matt Harpring goes on it.
The former Minnesota player is at the top of our list of players who needed another year of school. The first-round pick will play sparingly this season.

Rafael Araujo was dealt to the Jazz Thursday in exchange for Kris Humphries and Robert Whaley.
Humphries averaged 3.0 PPG and 2.5 RPG in his second season in 2005. He’s a project at age 21, and isn’t expected to have any fantasy value this season.
  • CLE Point Guard #31
Deron Williams (sore left foot) and Kris Humphries (calf) did not practice on Thursday, but will play on Friday against the Celtics.
The Nets are giving two guys who play huge minutes a maintenance day during the compressed season. With both expected to play, owners should keep both players entrenched as fixtures in the lineup.
  • WAS Center #43
Kris Humphries played through a calf injury and had 10 points, 15 rebounds, a steal and three blocks on Tuesday.
He’s having a fantastic year and continues to steal rebounds from teammate Brook Lopez.

GM Billy King said he wants impending unrestricted free agent Kris Humphries back as his starting power forward.
Humphries has previously said that he wants to be back with the Nets, so this should just be a matter of working out money. The former Mr. Kardashian played out this season on a one-year, $8 million contract. He’s likely looking for a long-term deal this time around after averaging a double-double in two straight seasons.

Kris Humphries (calf) played 25 minutes on Friday, scoring six points on 2-of-4 shooting with five rebounds and three turnovers to his credit.
Humphries struggled to stay on the court early, but ironically played a bunch while the game was well in hand down the stretch. He should be watched closely in case his calf injury has acted back up.
  • WAS Center #43
Kris Humphries scored a career-high 31 points on 11-of-15 shooting (9-of-12 from the foul line) with 18 rebounds, two steals, and three blocks in 42 minutes on Monday.
Humphries absolutely manhandled Ersan Ilyasova and was the Nets’ go-to player, and that will actually continue for however long Deron Williams (calf) is out.

Kris Humphries said he’d be willing to waive his no-trade clause for the right situation.
Since Humphries signed a one-year deal as an unrestricted free agent before the season, he has a no-trade clause. It’s unclear if he’d waive it if he became part of a Dwight Howard deal. Humphries has been a core member of the Nets this season, averaging 34.7 minutes and playing in all but three games.
  • WAS Center #43
Kris Humphries racked up a double-double on Friday, scoring 18 points with 13 rebounds and two steals.
Humphries knocked down 7-of-14 shots from the field as well as all four of his free throws. He is on a roll right now, but owners should be advised that the Nets only play three times next week.
  • CLE Point Guard #31
Deron Williams (calf), Kris Humphries (toe) and Gerald Wallace (hamstring) are all out on Thursday against the Raptors.
This could be a very, very ugly game to watch. The Nets will dress just eight players, and Deron Williams enters free agency on somewhat of a sour note after a calf injury hampered him down the stretch. Sundiata Gaines will continue to start at point guard in Williams’ absence.
