Kris Dunn was ejected from Thursday’s game against the Mavericks after picking up a Flagrant 2 foul during the third quarter.
Dunn committed a Flagrant 2 foul on Jazian Gortman with 5:32 remaining in the period, receiving his marching orders. The Clippers guard played 25 minutes, finishing with three points (1-of-5 FGs), one rebound, six assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer.

Kris Dunn (illness) will start against the Jazz on Monday.
Dunn popped up on the injury report as questionable just an hour before game-time. However alarming that late questionable designation was, he’s set to start and play his typical allotment of minutes against Utah Monday. Crisis averted.

Kris Dunn (illness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Dunn wasn’t on the injury report, but has now been downgraded to questionable with an illness. Kevin Porter Jr. would likely see additional minutes if Dunn were to miss this one, but isn’t a recommended streaming option.

Kris Dunn (illness) is available against the Rockets on Sunday.
Dunn is slated to start Sunday with Harden out. He’s absolutely on the streaming radar given the opportunity and usage he should see Sunday against the Rockets.

James Harden (sore right groin) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
Harden has yet to miss a game this season, but he’s on the initial injury report for Sunday with a sore groin. After the matchup with the Rockets, the Clippers won’t play again until Friday in Denver. If Harden cannot play, Kris Dunn will slide into the starting point guard role.

Kris Dunn got another start on Friday and contributed 13 points (6-of-13 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one triple in 19 minutes against the Rockets.
Dunn got his second straight start for the Clippers, but his minutes were far more limited in this one. He still provided some buckets and defensive numbers, but after two straight games with eight assists, this outing was disappointing. However, managers shouldn’t be too concerned yet. Kevin Porter Jr. played well off the bench and played more than he typically does. Also, this game was a blowout, which impacted Tyronn Lue’s rotations. As long as Dunn is starting, he should be seen as a decent streaming option with well-rounded upside.

Kris Dunn amassed 11 points (5-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Houston.
Dunn made his first start of the season on Wednesday, with the assists and steals production being incredibly encouraging. He isn’t going to be a high-level scorer, and the Clippers don’t need him to be. But if Dunn can continue to play 30 minutes per game, he can provide reputable value, especially in deep leagues. He’s currently rostered in 3% of Yahoo leagues, so finding Dunn on the waiver wire won’t be challenging.

Kris Dunn will start Wednesday’s game against the Rockets, replacing Terance Mann.
Mann isn’t dealing with any health-related issues ahead of Wednesday’s game. The Clippers need a spark, and Dunn’s defensive ability could be what provides it. Fantasy managers should take a patient approach and see what Dunn’s minutes look like before making a move. The same can be said for Mann, who hasn’t provided much value as a starter. If you still have him rostered, it won’t hurt much to hold off on dropping Mann until after Wednesday’s game.

According to Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, Dunn’s sign-and-trade deal is worth $17 million. Utah will get Russell Westbrook, a second-round pick swap, and cash in return.
Dunn will get a chance to serve as James Harden’s primary backup. His primary value comes from his defense and he averaged just 5.4 points per game last season despite 32 starts in 66 games. He’ll provide some much-needed backcourt depth but likely won’t provide much fantasy production.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Los Angeles is sending Westbrook, a second-round pick swap, and cash to Utah in a sign-and-trade deal for Kris Dunn.
Westbrook is expected to reach a buyout agreement with the Jazz so that he can join the Denver Nuggets in free agency. His fantasy outlook isn’t great coming off the bench behind fringe All-Star Jamal Murray and three-time MVP Nikola Jokic, so don’t expect him to increase his value after averaging 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game last season.
